Dr. Mathuros Tipayamongkholgul is an epidemiologist and an associate professor at the department of epidemiology, faculty of public health, Mahidol University. She developed climate models for dengue epidemic prediction by using time series models and spatio-temporal models while she was studying her Ph.D. at National Taiwan University and has been continually doing dengue research and coaching her master and Ph.D. students conducting dengue research, tuberculosis, and HIV. Beside prediction models, she has involved with national policy evaluations on topics such as Dengue, Tobacco control and etc. ​
