Academic Biography
I got my Ph.D. degree at the Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering (DoGEE), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, United States, and was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, United States. My research focuses and specialties include computational optimization, system simulation, mathematical algorithms and modeling, engineering economy, analysis of water resources and energy system, and environmental planning. I am the first or corresponding author in over 10 published SCI journal papers. In the meanwhile, I also actively participate in international academic activities. From 2018, I have been honored to serve as the editor of the international SCI journal, Paddy and Water Environment, and the committee member of 17 academic journals, and also host and give speeches in related conferences.
I am a sub-project principal coordinator of the multi-nation program, “Intelligent Urban Metabolic Systems for Green Cities of Tomorrow: an FEW Nexus-based Approach”, under the Belmont Forum supported by MOST. The people of this program include college research teams from the United States, Brazil, Japan and Taiwan. Research Focus
